Help please

I've downloaded some mods : Regiments and Pirates.
I can't use them.
Loadingpening advanced/mod/restarting..and stop. No way to customize the world, etc.
What I'm doing wrong ?

But I've solved the problem with reinstalling the game.

That's no problem... if you have skills in xml, python, C++ AND a lot of free time
