Hi there,

Every time I try to run a new application I get this error message:

errorit.png

It's really annoying. It appeared for the first time when I installed the software of my hp psc 1315 (I used to use it as a plug & play device, until I needed to scan something). I've already checked my ram with memtest, but it shows any error in the memory, so it's not a ram problem. Could anyone please help me?

You're gonna have to put it in a language that more than 0.1% of CFC'ers speak.

I don't understand. The first part is in regular Spanish, it says:
[pre]16 Bit MS-DOS Subsystem
c:\PROGRA~1\svchost.exe
The NTVDM CPU has found a forbidden command.
Cs:0f69 IP: fff9 OP: ff ff ff ff ff Choose "Close" to end this application.[/pre]
"Close" in Spanish is "Cerrar".
But then, the two buttons are not in Spanish. From the poster's signature I'm guessing it's Catalan.
According to Google Translate, "Tanca" means close, and "Ignora", quite obviously, means ignore. Why is the announcement in two different languages?

Because microsoft made a horsehockey patch for the Catalan translation, instead of making a REAL translation. So some error messages are still in Spanish (the interface and everything else is in Catalan, some error messages are the problem).

Wow! Errors inside error messages! That's so meta...
