I have the 22 religious buildings requirements (and 2 big churches which count as 4 each), haven't change my state religion (why would I, I founded Christianity) but the priests won't give up the location of the Holy Mountain so I can build a city near it and the Industrialism tech is getting mighty close. Not to mention slowing down my tech where the others can catch up or pass me. Now, I also have 3 other groups of religion buildings in my cities too but I'm not counting those for the quest requirement.

King Louis of France is DA CHIT! :king:

i'm not sure what to suggest other than to go to the events log and double-check the quest log to be sure you have the number of buildings requirements right. also, i suppose it's possible they showed you the peak but you missed the notification. the "!" it shows does not stay there, it's real small and just kind of blinks, so if you didn't notice the words when they happened, you'll never know about their so-called help. i don't know whether that part would show up in the quest tab, or whether you'd have to scroll through the entire events tab to find it. but if you do find a mention of "oh, they're telling you the holy mountain is here" in the log somewhere, clicking on the words will center the screen on the peak even if you missed it the first time.

good luck!

Check the event log, no mention of where the Holy Mount is.

In the quest log it says 22 buildings.

nope, he has to build the city near the place.

I never complete those insane quests. Once I got one that asked me to build cities in 16 landmass. Not 16 cities alone, but 16 in 16 different landmass. I'd have to occupy half the islands in the map X_x State Propiety would be a must!

Alas, it comes an idea. One should be asked quests to their civic. like "spread free market to at least 3 other nations" or something.

It is possible that you've already failed the quest, and it just wasn't deleted from your quest log. I had a game where I failed the War Chariots quest, and for some reason it stayed in my log for the rest of the game as though it were still active.

The Holy Mountain quest is easy to fail, since the AI spams cities in every corner of the globe and usually ends up claiming the Holy Mountain by accident. And the notification that you've failed a quest isn't that hard to miss if you're in a hurry.

If the quest is really still active, and the religious buildings requirement is glitching, then your best bet is to go look at all the little islands you've discovered and see if any of them have peaks on them. Given the AI's rabid expansion, those are the only possible sites for the Holy Mountain that would still be uninhabited close to the Industrial era.

what is the reward for the holy mountain quest.

Spoiler :
+1 happiness in all cities. Nice if you can get it early in the game. Probably not worth a great deal of fuss later on, when unhealthiness starts to be more of a factor than unhappiness.

Is there a compilation of these quests and their rewards, anywhere?
Some of them have been pretty slick, but most are quite "meh". Would like to know which ones are which.

So you should have already gotton a popup telling you to select your prize right?

I got a popup when I hit Industrialism - I didn't get it.

Even had 3 Airships with their large LOS views combing Earth to find it. Never saw a sign that said Holy Mountain Here.
