Many apologies if this has been covered. I tried to search but I didn't find anything that helped. I installed this patch and by and large I love it! But I wanted to revert back to the standard game to help teach my brother the basics of the game before submitting him to patches, mods and other goodness.
The problem is every time I delete the patch it comes right back when I launch the game. Every single time. I tried uninstalling the game entirely and again whenever I launch Civ 5, the whole patch shows right back up in the folder in its entirety. I deleted the entire My Games > Sid Meier's Civilization 5 folder but again as soon as I launch the game it recreates the folder and the entire patch shows back up. I know I'm missing something.
I want to be able to try other patches and mods as well, and from time to time to back to just the stock game, but if I cannot remove this patch I don't know what I'm going to do. Thank you for helping this noob!
