Help with local network MP

I need help please ..
me and my friend playing civ 6 local network multiplayer .. we live together .. everything going very well except AI take a very long time to play .. they taking the same time we take .. me and my friend ending our turns and please wait stay forever ..
my question is .. there are anything I can do to reduce the time the AI taking ?
