help [XML Modding]

can some help make a mod....i dont know how do edit the xml files....all i want to do is make the buildings and units build cost be alot lower like playing a quick game and the techs be really long like in a epic game.

You can read through some of the XML threads to get more of an idea of how to work with them. You can find a few here.

hajmyis, the xml files can be edited with wordpad. Don't edit the original file, though. Make a copy to play around with.

There are some good threads going in this forum discussing how to speed up or slow down various aspects of the game. It may take a while to read through them, but it is well worth the effort.
