Im having a problem installing Conquests....

When im trying to install directX 9 I get a message like:

"The software you are installing has not passed Windows logo testing to verify its compability with Windows XP"

What is that supposed to mean?
Ive tried downloading it from the internet also,and it still doesnt work. I had no problem with CIV 3... I dont know whats wrong...

help please!

Does it cancel the installation when this window pops up or is it causing some other form of problem?

well I can say dont install directx 9 and the installation will proceed,but then theres a bunch of problems,like so and so file could not be found.. I dont know why I cant even download it off the directX website cus the same box will appear.

Do you have DirectX 8? It has been reported that it works fine with 8....

What OS do you have (I'm assuming XP), what version of DirectX 9 did you try to DL and install and does it spit out an error number on the failed installation. Also what is the exact error message.
