help

We are a bunch of people, playing just 1 single game. Every action, step and decision is (should be) discussed and voted on. The decisions are posted as Instructions in the Instruction thread and the "Designated Player" (usually the president), plays a couple of turns online in a chat. The new situation restarts the cycle.

There are people who are responsible for several facets of the game. For instance the Minister of Defense is the one who controls the units. The minister of Trade and Technology is the person who initiates discussions on "what to research next ?" - "these trades are possible, what do the citizens feel about it" etc.
Every month there are elections for those positions. In fact, every registered citizen can run for an office. See the main thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=110) for more info.

DG4 has nearly ended, but DG5 will start soon (or shortly). If you'd like to join, please do.

ok, i just have a few more questions.

1. Do you guys play just ONE game (as in one save file)?
2. If you join do you have to play Civ3 everyday to keep up?
3. Do you play against the computer?

thanks

1. Yes, Only one game
2. Its usualy suggested that you load the save to look at what is going on. We frown uppon thoes who play ahead that are not the DP.
3. Yes, we play against the AI. There is another version of the Demogame which is known as the Multi-Site Demogame (PTW) and the Inter-Site Demogame where you play against other people a-la PBEM.
