This is the factory of Henry Ford, the first assembly line that use Taylorist methods. Available with motorized transports, industious flag; can increment production or build some units? :hmm:

BTW, some new Ford-T are on sale in the park on the front :)

Great, I was actually thinking of adding this to my private mod, as I believe this is truly one of the wonders of the world!

edit: thinking of adding this wonder prior to this work... So I was just going to use some other building. But now, I will just use this, nice splash too...

Great wonder and splash Rufus

Nicely done once again. :goodjob:

Wouldn't it be great to tag this Great Wonder "allows all civilizations to build manufacturing plants"? :D

Unfortunately there's no way to do that with the current editor. :(

I live about 20 minutes from the Rouge Plane...

nice mod.

This is nice, what about replacing the Iron Works SW for this?

Well yeah, why not? I just think Iron Works is a rubbish-sounding SW, and Ford's Factory would be a far better replacement

Good point. You can also mark it to need also rubber with coal and iron and within city radius... shouldn't be too many Ford Factories there if you want keep it as a SW

This is a must have! I never even thought of this, luckily RTF did.

BTW, that Henry Ford was actually pretty wicked man...

I don't mean to turn this into a political discussion, but I just thought Ukas' little note needed some details:
1: Henry Ford was mentioned in Adolf Hitler's book "Mein Kampf" as the only american businessman, who was not under the influence of the Jews.
2: Henry Ford recieved the most "honourable" order, which could be given to a foreigner by the German government.
3: The German division of Ford's factories, Ford-Werke, rented prisoners of war, Jews, leftists etc. from the German extermination camps. The prisoners were used as slaves and shot if they didn't work fast enough.

Maybe this wonder should give -5 in culture...

Juul is right. Also:

4. After retirement Ford ran a paper called 'The Dearborn Independent'. The paper told same stories about the Jews that Nazies papers did at the time.

5. in 1922 Henry Ford published his book, called The International Jew: The world's foremost problem. You can read it on the internet. The book was sold all over the United States in Ford's own dealers. Also, when you bought a Ford car you also got the book as a gift. This was prohibited by the president in 1942 and Ford was made to apologize the Jews - which he did by writing an open letter.

Here's a pic of Ford receiving that the Grand Cross of the German Eagle by Nazi diplomats. Mussolini got his earlier same year.
