So I just got a new MacBook from work. And of course, I wanted to test it out, so I loaded up Civ IV and Warlords. I started up Warlords and it claimed that my system didn't meet minimum specs... but I played anyway.
This is a 2 gig model with 512 mb ram and 64mb shared video memory... and it runs Civ IV better than my dual 2 gig G5 with 1.5 gig ram and a 256 mb x800 xt. What is up with that?
I don't understand.
No lag... just smooth gaming well into the AD on a decent size map... yes, graphics were turned down and everything, but my machine still lags no matter what.
