Hiding Civ3

When operating under Windows98, is there a way that I can quickly hide Civ3 or some sort of a panic mode? Quitting the game is much too slow if, hypothetically speaking, a supervisor just happens to walk behind you during a down time (though why playing Civ3 is worse than writing emails or surfing the web is beyond me). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Have another window program open, such as Outlook or MS Word. When you want to panic, press alt-tab to switch to the other program.

If you have a Windows-Key on your Keyboard, try using that one... it pops up the start-menu.

It works even if you don't have a program running.

Windows + D key minimize all windows

Pressing Windows + D again will restore the window.
