What scale are they?

Hmmm. Doesn't say. I'd guess about 1:24 scale.
 
Depends on how you look at it. Would you say the same thing about a guy who was really good at soccer?

I'd say they were really rich.
 
I haven't got pictures, but in a couple of ship museums there are some models that, while not detailed on that scale, because the ships modeled are too large to allow that, are very detailed for things hand made.
 
That depends. This site has a good scale model of the Titanic. Sure it is 18 feet long though...





 
I just have to necro the thread to say that whoever ripped the pictures on that moolf site is full of fail. Those aren't Japanese aircraft, they're an F4U Corsair and P-51 Mustang, both American. The guy who makes them is a retired dentist from Hawaii. There's far more info about the models and the builder at the original site here.
