I'm sick of all the Hitler bashing!
I have heard that people do not want him in the game because they feel that he did nothing for his country. What a load of Bollox! Personally, I feel that National Socialst ideas really are impressive, even if not all of them, but most of them. Hitler did many bad things and killed many innocent people (just as Mao did, Elizabeth, Montezuma, Caesar, Xerxes, and no doubt all other Civ3 leaders), but this is beside the point. During the National Socialist period in Germany, every German was content. Well, at least more content than they were in England or America. They were well feed, given a new sense of identity, and they became rich. He was well in the process of making his country strong again by getting rid of CAPITALISM (which murders 20'000 innocent people everyday BTW so that Godly America can be 'free') and making it natural again. He was not a rascist. He had great respect for Muslims (who fought for him in the SS) and Tibetan monks (who came to Berlin for a friendly visit to help Himmler decipher some texts which he believed to be Aryan. His hatred for the Jews was purely religious and political. He strove to bring back the Old religion for the German and Germanic people.
If this is doing nothing for his country, then bye bye Lincoln.
Also, I sick of the lack of knowledge people here have about the English. We are of Saxonic decsent. A Germanic tribe (and the greatest at that in my opinion), not Romanic or Celtic. And we weren't jewish/christian by the time we invaded these shores.
Both Germany and England need to be revised for an expansion to the game. I would also like to see the Incas, Hebrews, Congo, Mali, Canadians, Australians, Maoris, Maya, Carthaginians, Arabs, Tiahuanaco (maybe), Brazilians, Mongols, Norse, Spanish, Koreans. There's another 16.
