I have taken over presenting the Hodadian Awards and would like to finalise the winners for 2000 before we set about with the 2001 awards.

I need nominees for the following categories.

    • Scenario of the Year
    • 2nd Best Scenario
    • 3rd Best Scenario
    • Mapmaker of the Year
    • Most Accurate Map
    • Modpack of the Year
    • Best Original Sound
    • Website of the Year
    • Most Informative Website
    • Most User Friendly Site
    • Most Innovative Site
    • Civ'er of the Year
    • Webmaster of the Year
    • Best Utility Program

Now these are only applicable to Civ2 and you can nominate anyone you want and it will be considered.

I am also accepting positions for those that wish to judge nominations with me. ICQ is a must have please, so if you want to judge please download it or if you already have it you can reach me at UIN 73438757.

When nominating please take into consideration this os for 2000 only, so stuff created in 2001 will NOT be accepted.

I'm pretty sure Captain Nemo is gonna win a lot of these positions but let's try and cover more than one person and site for these awards.

So get a'goin and nominate some ppl already!

2nd Best Scenario - Imperium Romanum (forgot who made it)

    3rd Best Scenario

Mapmaker of the Year - Julius Brezendai (misspelled probably)

    Most Accurate Map

    Modpack of the Year

    Best Original Sound

    Website of the Year -Civfanatics.com

    Most Informative Website -Civfanatics.com

Most User Friendly Site - CivFanatics.com

    Most Innovative Site -Civfanatics.com

    Civ'er of the Year

Webmaster of the Year - ThunderFall

    Best Utility Program

Thunderfall should be webmaster for all of the work he's done, he keeps the page updated daily, and he's changed the page scheme a few times. He's a dedicated Webmaster and civer.
Also you should make Modpack Maker of the Year which would be John Valdez
He makes so many great Mod-packs that it's not funny!
Julius Brezenda made the GIGA MAPS which put an interesting twist on civing
    Peace!
O yeah i'm the civer of the year =]

Well, it must be close to the Armageddon. Lord, you know that I won’t fly by that lesson you taught me, to pull out my Wesson you brought me, and i’m not stressin’ it softly. Get ‘em up off me, ‘cause all we wanted harmony, been bombin’ ‘em. Yell up outta my ghetto, “I won’t settle,” get on my level.

I'm always asking people for their nominations to the Scenario Hall of Fame...so, this is my chance to finally nominate some people...

2nd Best Scenario - Imperium Romanum - Bernd Brosing (of course)

    3rd Best Scenario - hm..that's a tough one

Mapmaker of the Year - Julius Brezendai
I second the motion, Giga maps are a break
    thru.

    Most Accurate Map - ???

Modpack of the Year - hm....

Best Original Sound - (hmm..that's tough too)

    Website of the Year -Civfanatics.com!!

    Most Informative Website -Civfanatics.com!!

Most User Friendly Site - CivFanatics.com!!

    Most Innovative Site -Civfanatics.com!!

Civ'er of the Year - Roger Hofmann, because he completed 2317%, using Classic Civ II and then even wrote a manual on how to do it.

Webmaster of the Year - ThunderFall

Best Utility Program - "CivCity" by Carl Fritz (who is also in the Scenario Hall of Fame)

    -----------------
well, those are my nominations...I have played so many scenarios, it just seems like there should be more slots, because there's a lot of quality out there.

    Thanks,

No offense to Corn, but it's not that hard just to change it to Sim manually.

I agree, Imperium Romanum is an excellent scenario. It gives a completely different feel to Civ.

Anyone know where I can download the famed Captain Nemo's 2nd front scen?

I didn't see it. It must be pretty darn good to be better than Romanum.

Let's put ST: Dominion Wars in that 3rd best scenario slot...it's got to be up there...everyone will know how I feel about it when they read my review...

I know that not everyone likes ST scenarios...but you've really got to give credit where it is due...

If it's the 2000 awards, why are you guys nominating 2001 scenarios like Imperium Romanum and Dominion wars? The awards are still in utter confusion...
