Yeah, I finished my QM and EQM (for Warlord) both on this update. Now I have to improve my scores and finish off more games on higher difficulty levels.

I tried G-Minor 46 4 times and failed all 4 times. I guess Prince is still out of reach of me and that's pretty sad since I used to play Prince level all the time a couple years ago. Back to Noble for me.

I played through G-Major 29 several times until I finally beat it. Discussing strategy and mistakes that I had made in the forums really helped me to improve. Diety is still above my level, but after playing several games with those settings, I can now tackle Monarch and above.

The moral is not to give up on the harder difficulties. Learn from each game and you will be able to take on harder challenges.

How close is a HoF mod compatible with 3.17? I only ask because I've patched to 3.17 and don't want to have to reinstall 3.13 if it can be avoided/put up with for another week.

There have been some new QM and EQM additions this update. As previously advertised, ruff_hi becomes the first to achieve Monarch EQM.

EQM: ruff_hi (1st, Monarch), Mesix (7th, Warlord), Jack LEagle (7th, Chieftain), unclethrill (15th, Settler)

For EQM, do people go from settler up or do they just go straight for the level they're most comfortable with? I ask because I'm trying for Noble EQM, but I normally play Prince/Monarch SP games.

You start at the level you want to qualify on because those games will also count towards the lower levels but not the other way round.

The exception would be if you want to improve your score on a lower level, then you would want to play that level if you can place in the tables there better relative to the tables on the level you're comfortable with.

But I think most people would want to work on improving their score on the highest level they can qualify for, or work towards a higher level. It's up to the person though.

Yes, as FiveAces said, you can play whatever level you want.

But I would suggest not starting on Settler, because I doubt you would have fun playing 33+ Settler-games, if your normal play-level is Prince/Monarch,
