horse number bug

For the past few turns my advisor has been telling me I have less horses than units using them and that my horse units will fight less effectively. This is during war and was after I traded off my extra horses (so it was not negative but net-0) I don't see how this can ever happen since if a resource is used it is locked from trading. Even after I captured more horses later and shut down some horse production to bump it back up to +3 horses (displayed on the top bar) the advisor would say this every turn.

The advisors are useless. They also keep their last 15 or so "news" for ages, so you might read stuff that was meant to be said to you 4000 years ago (doesn't matter, it was wrong back then and is wrong now). Just ignore the advisors, they are and will always be useless unless they bring back the civ 2 advisors (they were also useless, but at least funny).

Concerning negative horses. Of course this can happen when your pasture gets destroyed or your city around it taken. It also can happen when you are at zero and then a military CS gifts you a horse unit.
