This just popped up on the news. It seems some guy is holding 4 (?)staffers hostage at the Clinton campaign offices in Rochester.

I'll pop in to remind people that only about 1% of schizophrenics are criminally dangerous.

That's about the same odds as the general population. If you see a schizophrenic, he's no more likely to be dangerously violent than anybody else.

I'm betting this guy is crazy though.

Can we have a link?

WHOA! That's where I live!

(Or at least kinda sorta not so much, but I am reasonably close)

Man, she'll plant anything in order to get her presidency.

(no one's been hurt yet, so I can say that)

MSNBC, where I happen to be right now, I think said that two people are hostage and that this person wants to talk to Hillary Clinton.

She is supposedly in Washington, DC.

I just saw it on the news too.

It will be interesting to see if this turns out to be an advantedge to her, or the opposite.

I can't see how it will hurt her.

I predict, Hillary will go there herself, give this inspirational speech about how great it is to be an American and that she can help everyone and the hostage taker will give up, moved by her speech. This will give her a massive amount of popularity and WHAM BAM KAZAM she's on the last leg of the presidential elections.

Better yet she could have planted the hostage taker to give up and the hostages to not press charges.

Rochester New Hampshire, not New York.

I'm pretty sure she wont have a say in what charges are pressed

It looks like this thing is coming to an end without violence. A good thing.

The hostage taker had called CNN, but CNN didn't report it at the time because it might have affected what happened (like if he was watching the news). He has had mental problems and claims he couldn't get anyone to help him. Has had contact with the democratic HQ many times over the years when he was complaining to them about mental health care.

I smell a campaign slogan!

(Only joking now that the situation appears over.)

Still, it's a great thing that it all ended peacefully.

According to CNN, this guy was supposed to be in court this afternoon for a domestic violence hearing.

If a guy shows up with a bomb, complaining about the state of mental health care ... is that a decent sign that mental health care needs improvement?
