Hotseat Question

I’m sorry if this has been covered somewhere else but

Has C3C fixed the problems with Hotseat.

Are some players still kept in the dark about what is happening in the game? (unit movements, attacks, Wonder Builds, War declarations etc)

Any help will be appreciated.

Hotseat play has not been changed (see the chat log for details...or lack thereof)

Nothing changed, and will prolly not be changed either since it looks like its programmed that way (not a bug).

I found out something kind of unique the other day about Hotseat. My wife and I started a hotseat of Age of Discovery. But, because she wanted to be France (she was listed as player 1 which defaulted to Spain --I think) we clicked on the box next to her name and cycled to "3" which made her player 3: France. Then I clicked in at slot 2, but selected Spain. Well, anyway, we're both able to see some of the AI's moves now. Unless I'm just off the deep end. Wierd.

Just thought you'd like to know.

WOW!, great info Kraken!.... but what do ya mean by "some"??? is it any particular moves you dont see or is that random?

I'm not sure. I haven't "studied" it. I just happened to notice that, as "Player 2" (but scenario player 1) I am able to see the moves of the player after me (if they are within line of sight, of course). Then, when my wife ends turn, as Player 1" but as France (which is scenario player 3), she sees some computer moves.

I'll have to look into it more because I may be mistaken on this one. I say don't get your hopes up.

Yeah, Sid maliciciously wanted to screw the 5 hotseat players in the world. This makes no sense.

it was a continuation of an earlier discussion. if it's not a bug, then it is designed that way. i think there's at least a dozen hotseat players too ;P
