At the beginning of every players turn except the first player during a hotseat game the map is zoomed out all the way to the final setting before globe view. This causes a few problems.
#1 It takes longer for their turns to begin, as the map takes a while to zoom that far out in my game after a decent amount is visible.
#2 The music can go from no music or low music to incredibly loud, causing all kinds of collateral sleeping person damage.
#3 It causes you to forget what you were doing. In a 3+ player game in the 500+AD years it can take a while for your turn to come back around. I like the map to be centered and zoomed where I left it to get a feel of familiarity and continuity beteween turns.
In conclusion: Please save the settings at the end of EVERY players turn so they can have things how they left them, and also this would enable some players to use the fight as stack option or leave the map grid or yield display on and other players to have other settings the way they like them. This would greatly enhance my enjoyment of the game as I am sure it would many other people, 3 of whom I meet with once a week.
