The era that a GP in the queue, how is it determined? It does not apepar to follow the era progress. I got a great scientist and for some reason he was from the industrial era even though the era progress is Renaissance and I have Renaissance level techs.

I have also had the opposite situation, in which I got a great scientist from an earlier era even though I was well ahead of this. Guessing this happened because I was out-teching all the AI. But anyway, I didn't even notice it was an old GP until the event score announced that I had recruited an "Old" great person, which gave me slightly less score, just like building an "old" wonder does.
