Is there a way to destroy your own city in
CIV II on a Mac? In CIV I I could just make
settlers when I had a population of one.
Now I find that if I capture a city in a bad
    location, I'm stuck.

I have been using spies to reduce the pop to
1, then when I capture the city it will be
destroyed. But it sure would be easier to
just grab it and then zap it...

No, the only way to destroy the city is to build a settlers unit when the population is one.

    Yes there is.. kinda.
Most of the time a newly captured city's food box will be full.Let it fill for the new citizen so the box is empty.Turn all citizens to entertainers so there is a food deficit. Now rush buy a settler. Then disband it and repeat. You can get rid of cities pretty quick.Sell any granaries first. The food deficit will starve down faster.Won't work on chieftain as you can't disband cities on that level. You may even get a non supported settler at the end of it.
