How do I add a new civilization to an existing scenario in Worldbuilder?

I know this can be done, thanks to fan-made modifications to the Earth scenarios, but I can't figure out how. Could somebody please explain?

Well, the most straight forward way would be to edit them into the map file through a text editor (though it is quite painstaking). The only other way that I can think of is to remove the default civs in the editor, start a new game with the civs that you want, and then move them to where you want them to be (don't forget to clear their exposed FoW). Still, if there is an easier way, I would like to know!

It's not painstaking! Just copy and paste, then change the civ data. It's like modding an XML file.

Thanks, guys! But where in the XML documents do I modify the players?

You needn't deal with the xml ;).
If you have the map as worldbuildersave, you can open it with a texteditor (notepad, wordpad, etc), and change them there.
If you want to know, to what to change them, look in the Civilizations\CivilizationsInfos.xml.
