How do i edit unit colors?

Hey i was wondering if it would be possible to edit unit colors. All the tutorials are about making entirely new units and i just want to edit the uniforms of some units. Change a red hat to blue that sorta thing.
Is it possible to edit colors without making a whole new unit?
If so can some one pls tell me how.

If you download flicster off the Utility Programs Forum, and if you have a program that will edit pcx files. Then you are set.

Flicster will let you export the storyboard, it is a pcx file that can be edited and then when you finish editing. Flicster will reassemble.

Civ3FlcEdit lets you edit the palette of an animation directly, without messing with the storyboard. If all you want to do is change colors, that's the easiest option.
