How do I find my number of bookmarks?

However, I just noticed BookmarkDD (meant for deleting bookmarks) says something like '10 Duplicates Out Of 1000' or something.

There are extensions you can add that look for duplicate bookmarks. After that, create folders and organize them by related subject. That ought to make it manageable.

I do organize them. Some people say over-organize, when I send them my list.
