How do I make cities visually bigger?

Hi all, I saw a screenshot a long time ago, where somebody said they'd edited the xml so that their cities (and possibly towns as well) sprawled out over more of the map. I've been really wanting this, but I can't find where I read about it.

I know there's the fscale tag, but I don't want the buildings to get physically bigger, but rather for there to be more of them, spread out over neighboring tiles.

Thanks!

I took a quick glance at the files and it looks like the textures are in Art\structures\cities. You will need to unpack the AssetsX.fpk files. The Pakbuild program that does that is in the "Utility Programs" section. The warlords expansion adds a few extra texture files.

Dont know why you would want to, they get sprawling enough late in the game, taking up multiple tiles graphicaly, I know you can scale the buildings to nearly any size if you want, but i dont know if you wanted more buildings or just bigger.,

There's an option for this in BlueMarble. Try that out. I can't remember the exact name of the setting, but it's pretty self-explanatory.

I just installed blue marble, but I don't see an ini file or anything? The only settings I can find are the ones in the installer, and there's no option like this that I see.

Shame, CivScale doesn't seem to be supported or even available for download anymore. That further backs up my idea that it's possible somehow in the xml, though.

Wow, that's really odd. I'll see if I have my old copy and re-upload it.

I actually just found a copy on some random file hosting site, but it gives me an error about having the wrong version installed, so I'm not sure there's any way to work it.

Maybe if I edit the version number in the global define xml, I can still get it to try, I'll just make a backup of the game first ;)

edit:
Got it! If anyone's curious, the values are in Assets\XML\Misc\CIV4DetailManager.xml
