How do I see the history of my game?

I came back to a game after a while and can't remember why I'm at war with some civs. I'm sure there's a log of previous events somewhere?

The best you can do is the Timeline. It may give you a clue (or several).

Edit: what is a 'FFS'?

The timeline only shows my civ's achievements, not wars etc.

Well NFS is need for speed, but the acronym FFS is nothing like that. I thought everybody understood it. I'll be thrown off the forum by a prude in a minute.

If you can't remember that one, LMGTFY.

Also, don't know. Not going to find out for every single forum I go to. Search problem on google[1], if not there ask in a forum.

[1] Which becomes very easy if you have a Google Home or Alexa. For example in the middle of a CIV VI game, I wanted to know what tech is required to build a tank, so I just said "Hey Google, what technology is needed for a tank in Civilisation 6?"
