I posted this question on the subreddit already but I think I might get more help here.
I want to know how to stably edit a map I downloaded from here.
I said "stably" because after I'm done editing and save the map, when I go play it, nothing seems to have changed. If I go back to edit the map it tells me "a mod failed to load" or something like that.
I'm trying to edit a map I downloaded because there are some small tweaks I want to make. This map will be just for personal use. I think I'm doing something wrong because the map name is a bunch of letters and numbers but I don't know what I am doing wrong. The map maker in Civ6 is nothing like the great thing it was in Civ5 but it's what I'm stuck with
