How does this program work and what does it do.

Im Dumb, I know:crazyeye:

It is actually fairly simple:

- press "Print Screen" on your keyboard when you can see what you want to take a screenshot of.
- open any image editor (MS Paint can do)
- paste
- save as a picture

I've always wondered 'bout those screen capture programmes; given the built in screen capture in Windooze, do they actually fulfill any function? I mean, you can hardly make a business out of people never trying their PRT SCR key, or?

Actually, seems they do, and not only for this task but for other already incoporated in Windows too.

A + on the infos : if you have different windows opened at the same time and just want to take a screenshot of one, select this window then click Alt + Print screen to make a snapshot of the active window only (minimap,....).

Some of them have some fancy options, eg. save series of pics (what you can´t do via clipboard), or make snapshots only of selected areas of a screen etc. But for simple screenshots you probably don´t need this, so no reason to waste money ;)

I have just such a thing because it came together with Corel´s PhotoPaint.
