How do I turn off the opening movie?

I have not yet worked out what key to press to terminate the opening movie. It was entertaining the first couple of times, and is well done but I'm getting tired of watching it all the way through every time I want to play.

Pressing any key or the left mouse button seems to work nicely for me.

I wind up trying multiple combinations of keystrokes until it quits, often around the time they show the husky guy in the prow of the ship. Perhaps it just runs until my relatively old computer gets enough of the game loaded. I'd rather; however, use my limited processing power to load the game faster, instead of running the movie.
