How do you clean a Laptop screen?

As the thread says, what is the best way to clean a laptop screen? I have heard lots of ways but want to make sure that it wont hurt the computer

Any help or suggestions would great.

erm - huh?

OH! you mean, wiping dirt etc off the screen.
Well - there are some products "specially" made to be of use on monitors - not really sure as to how they would make the lcd laptop screen react though, but my suggestion is to seek up a store that specializes in this sort of thing

I use a soft lint-free cloth to dust off my laptop screen and my desktop's LCD monitor. My son uses the same 'baby wipes' that he uses with his baby.

One of those Swiffer cloths work great. You don't want to use something like Windex, because it destroys LCD screens.

just select the dirt particles you want to get rid of and hit the delete key

I've been cleaning screens for years (IT support) - the best thing I have found for both CRT and LCD screens is a soft cloth or soft paper towel very slightly dampened with water - cleans well and does not leave streaks on the screen - which a lot of so called special cleaning solutions do
