How do you deliver hunted food for a city? And how do capturing wild donkeys work?

Trying out PAE for the first time, and it seems like a great mod. I've read the in-game encyclopedia to get a basic grasp of the new mechanics, but one thing isn't clear for me yet.

When I hunt animals with my hunter, do I have to do something for the food to be delivered to a city? I see a button on my hunter action bars regarding food delivery, that highlights valid cities - but it doesn't seem to do anything aside from provide that information.

Is the delivery automatic? I didn't notice any food change when killing animals, but I might have missed it.

And how does capturing Donkeys work?

When you have your hunter selected it has a green or red circle on cities. As long as it's green all food from defeated animals will be delivered to the nearest city. If it's red you are out of reach and the food will be lost... You even get a notice from fights against animals: "gathered X food for City Y" or so.

What button in the action bar? You don't have to click any buttons... except for right mouse button to attack animals ;)

Yep. Just kill an animal max 4 plots away from a city and you get some food for it.

Oops... the donkey... I've planned to add it in the next PAE version, but during programming this and that version, I mixed it a little bit up. So, I didn't implement the python stuff for the donkey in PAE VI. I am busy to do it now.

stay tuned

Hi, may it be that there is the same code problem with the horses?
They are not running (neither those that spawn, nor those that are built in cities).
Thanks.

hm.. I don't know... in my recent test game, there was no space for horses... I will have a look on a huge map....
