How do you download a mod????

Do i click open or save, and where do i put it if the latter?????

How do i play it now that i downloaded it

Place the mod's folder in your /My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4*/MODS/ directory, and then, when you load Civ4, select Advanced and then Load a Mod. Once you choose the appropriate mod, the game will restart to load your mod and it will now play with the various changes, additions, and other content.

* If you have one of the expansion packs, substitute that name here.

I did all of that, and the map doesnt apear in the play a scenario section. What do i do???

I would try asking in the Rhye's and Fall forum, seeing as that place is where you'll get the best support.
