I have two eating modes: regular and summertime (like daylight savings time). With regular, where I have to attend class, I have three proper and mostly balanced meals. Summer, I have two meals (I get up around 10-12, so the line between breakfast and lunch blur) and are most composed a whatever junk food I can get.

I eat all the time. It does matter if I'm hungry, but if the food's good (and free), then I'll usually still eat it.

I've started having breakfast now. 3 square meals. Boring but healthy. I take lots of time over them and really enjoy them.

Same here.

Whenever I'm hungry, doesn't matter if it's healthy or not - I'm a student for crying out loud!

Speaking of which, I'm hungry now, and I have crisps and beer.

i only eat when im hungry, but sometimes i just ignore my hunger

3 healthy meals a day. (I know someone who knew somone who ate 4 meals a day. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (a small meal - at about 4pm), then Supper (8pm).

I really want to do that European thing of having a big lunch instead of dinner. I generally don't really care about how many calories or fat I take in, because I've been exercising a lot lately. I think that's more important than watching calories, just getting the exercise.

I eat 4 meals, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner.

Breakfast: 8:00 - 11:00 range
Lunch: 11:00 - 1:00 range, depending on when I ate breakfast
Afternoon snack: 3:00 - 4:00
Dinner: 5:00 - 7:00

I don't usually eat breakfast (or the first few hours of my day anyway ;) ) though I occasionally will have a snack at that time if I went to bed with an empty stomach. As for the rest of the day, usually a late afternoon & mid evening meal. There's nothing 'square' about it, usually, but it fills me. I snack if I'm hungry, but I hate junk food, so this usually means warming up a small portion of leftovers.

I aim to eat only when I'm genuinely hungry (usually about twice a day if I'm active). Like most I was raised to see eating as entertainment, recreation and something to do whether your hungry or not ("c'mon kiddo, eat up").

I eat pretty healthy. I used to eat whatever I wanted (usually junk food) whenever I wanted but eventually ran into problems which led me to do research as to what would be more optimal. I encourage everyone to do this as early on in life as possible (rather than waiting until you can no longer "get away with" eating whatever, whenever).

I'm quite the opposite. I eat more regulary during the summer, and I totally lack discipline during school time.

Either way, I can't remember the last time I ate a breakfast
