I've looked all over the place and couldn't find the answer. It seems like this is common knowledge, cuz I see it all the time in screenshots, so maybe I'm just stupid.
EDIT: Wow, turns out it's the colorblind option. I'm not colorblind, but it helps a ton. Especially when you're playing a game with 31 civs total.
