[Col] How do you get Treasure carts onto your Galleons?

Hi, I have just got this game recently because i remember it being my most favorite game in my childhood and still love it now.

But my main question is how do you move Treasure carts (that can be found by sometimes pillaging Indian camps or search rumor locations) on a Gallon that is ported in my city harbor.

I have tired everything. I tired putting the carts to the "Sentry" statues where it has the Letter "S" in its square as it does say "Sentry / board ship". I tried moving the treasure cart unit onto the galleon with the arrow keys form city to ship. I tried many different ways to try to load Galleons with treasure units but none of them work.

Does the Galleon need to be completely empty when you do this?

Is there a different way to do it? If there is can you please do a step by step detailed instructions on how to do it?

To load a treasure cart onto a Galleon, the ship does need to be completely empty, and can only carry one treasure at a time
