How do you picture nations as real human beings?

Russians:

Ireland:

A mix of both stereotypes and the fact that its a metaphor for what we did with our economic prosperity.

Austria:

Joke I heard but it applies to this thread:

England: is like the father figure, aging yet still stately, a presence when he chooses to exert himself, slowing down as his middle years continue to advance.

America: is the rebelous teenage son, headstrong, coming into his own, much ahead of him if he could get his emotions in check and listen to some wisdom from his father figure.

Germany is the grandfatherly figure, authoritive, unyielding, been there and done it, often times overlooked but always listened to when he dispenses his pearls of wisdom.

France is the strange uncle who wears polyester shirts, platform shoes, and goes on and on that no matter what, he's still got it.

Reminder - it was a joke. ;)

My 2 cents

^---- I hate it when they do that.
