I've looked on the Game of Democracy Forum for explanations for how you play Civ like a Democracy. I get the idea that everyone votes, but how is the game actually played? Doesn't it take forever to complete a single turn? How do you keep it fun? Don't players drop in and out of the game?

Thanks for any info.

Read the Constitution thread (it's sticky so will be near the top of the forum). That will give you the basics on how the Demo game is played.
Doesn't it take forever to complete a single turn?
There are 5 turns every 2 days so it is not a lighting fast game.
How do you keep it fun?
We keep it fun by being involved in the big decisions. Working together, arguing, debating, to get our points across. Just like the American Congress except we're productive too!
Don't players drop in and out of the game?
Yup. It keeps things interesting. There will be a dedicated core of experienced players through the entire game though.
