Just out of curiosity. How do you take your anger out when you are feeling POed or stressed?

When I get mad, I normly would load up a 1st persion shoter game. But if I have no game with me, Ill pop in some music.

When I'm really stressed or angry, I try to do something healthy. I work out, maybe play my guitar or a little Civ. Sometimes I like to take my doggies on a walk. :) That always cheers me up. If all else fails, I just yell at someone or tell them they suck. But that doesn't happen very often. :p

Physical abuse to mice, keyboards and monitors. Muttering curses. Majority is bottled up and swallowed where it curls away into nothing and makes me a healthy happy person.

Chain-smoking is my first option. Exercise is my second option. If the weather is inclement and my indoor backup is closed, then I go for a first person shooter or CivIII.

If I'm out and about, then good music in the car will have to do.

Somedays, I just have to bottle it up inside until I can go home and spit on the cat. She hates that...

I kill people.
Er, I mean, I stroll through meadows and pick wildflowers :mischief:

;) If it's something minor, I usually just mutter something, and if it's something major, I have a tendency to break things... Sometimes I go play basketball or jog or lift weights or something; that always helps.

Invading Poland seems to be popular among my ilk.

Growl.

Drive very dangerously.

Rant, work out, bash person who made me angry, or play a fighting game. I can't take anger too calmly.

Martial arts.
It's really good, both for venting anger and for controling it :)

If it's a short frustration, like loosing a moden armor to a spearman, then I just call my computer some names and reload :D

I do positive things when I am angry. At a lesser scale, I yell at people. One or two times, whoever provokes me gets a black eye.

Rant and vent immediately if possible. Second choice is to listen to VERY loud music until the anger passes. (Current favorite is Godsmack)

I black out when I get angry and can't be held responsible for my actions. At least, that's what my lawyer told me to say.

I don't get angry. It's a pointless emotion that does nothing but cloud judgment, reason & logic.

But it does amuse me to witness anger engulf an easilly susceptible individual or, as I like to call them, "anger junkies", because they seem to need a regular anger fix. I've also noticed that the average anger junkies top pet hates include politeness & disagreement from others. Therefore, I feel it my duty to politely disagree with anyone having a hissy fit (they really hate the use of that word to discribe their behavour, so I make it a point to use it every now & then).

Keep up the anger fits people, and ye shall amuse all with your clownish antics.

I just calmly take my sword and find my way downtown and see what happens if I start running around with the sword out of its sheath....

Seriously, sometimes it's relaxing through a game. Sometimes I might go find a good old punching bag (too bad I don't have the huge body bags so I could kick as well) and knock it out. If it's a person, I might yell. But, no violence unless provoked/struck first.

And cursing...I don't curse that much, though.

I internalize it. The anger just disappears without any consequences! I suggest you all try it! ;)

Seriously though, I don't get angry very often. I'd like to think of myself as very calm person. I can't remember the last time I got angry about something. I don't have many things in my life that can make me angry...

I generally don't get very angry that often, when I do I usually forget so quick that it does'nt really matter, if its bad enough that i am really REALLY angry i will just go for a walk or lay down for a while and think about something else. but seriously its hard to make me really angry.
