How do you turn off wonder videos?

Long time reader first time poster. My wonder videos crash about 50% of the time. Usually they pixelate right before they crash. Every thing else works but the videos. (and a bit chopiness in the sound in the intro) A quick fix would be to turn off all the wonder videos. Just give me some instructions and i would be thankful.

Open up "...My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\CivilizationIV.ini".

Change the entry:
; Set to 1 for no in-game movies
NoMovies = 0

to:
; Set to 1 for no in-game movies
NoMovies = 1

Same problem here....or at least on my girlfriends pc.
Gonna try it out and see if it helps

Does anyone know how this can happen?
The problem with the game crashing often when the movies play.
Getting
"Memory allocation failure - exiting program.
Reason: bad allocation, File:.\CvAppMainLoop.cpp Line 261"

Could it be some movie-codecs, gfx-drivers, corrupt hardware like memory or motherboard.....any guesses?

Seems to work on her pc now that the movies are turned off

Still interrested in feedback on what might possibly be wrong. Not many seem to have this problem at all.

She has some strange crashproblems with other games so would be nice to know if this possibly is some bad hardware or if its just a game bug showing itself on some combination of hardware/software.
