How do you use custom movies in Civilization 3?

How do you use custom movies in Civilization 3 : Conquests Expansion? I tried saving over the video named conquests, but it still plays the normal movie every time I boot it up. I tried at least three times already, I cannot figure it out. Can anybody help?

You probably want CivComplete.bik which is the intro video for the version which bundles all expansions together. This is what is sold on steam/gog.
