How does Air Interception work?

Let's say there are two mobile sams on one tile. What is the chance that I get intercepted? 50% nevertheless how many sams are on the tile, or it's 1-(0.5)^n where n is the number of sams on the tile?

Or is it like this: the enemy unit which has the most chance for interception and its range covers the tile you attack has a chance to intercept?

And another question: I experienced that a fighter has less chance to intercept when it's not at full HP. For example when it is at 20% of its full HP it has only 20% chance to intercept. And one fighter can intercept unlimited number of times a turn.

But as far as I see sams and other ground interception units always have the maximum chance to intercept, even when they have low HP. But one ground interception unit can only intercept ONCE every turn.

Are my observations right? Isn't there a thread where I could confirm these?

my observations: I think sam works different then fighters. Defending fighters always seem to result in dogfights rather then attacking fighter being able to hit ground. I have massbombed stacks of SAM before, I don't think they all get a different roll, because I got away hitting quite a couple of em still. For defense, I'd recommend you, build a bigger airforce then your opponent, and you should be safe.
