I just thought I might ask this. I'm a sprinter so I'm interested how fast people here are.
So, what's your record in 100m?
My record is 13.40, I ran it few weeks ago.

I'm not sure would this be here or in Off-topic

I think I was around 14.00s when i was 14 Ville. 200m was my thing cos i used to run it at the same pace as 100m:D

I've done 12.5 for 100m and came last :) But my best time is under 1h30 for a half marathon.....

I ran a 12.2 when i was 17 and in the Australian Schoolboys squad for Rugby League, but had a knee reconstruction that year and now i think it'd be closer to 14 sec...

4.9 second 40 yard dash and a 6.7 second 60 yard dash. i can't keep it up all day long though lol i ran the 40 and 60 yard dashes the other day with a friend and i can do 7 straight pretty non-stop 40 yard dashes before i start dieing, i can do 4 60 yard dashes, the 60s will wear your ass down

Fastest I've run 3 miles - 19min 12sec. Not much of a distance runner though.

I never really went out for track & field type sports, so I'm not sure what my 100m dash time would be. When I was in the USMC though, I could sprint like a cheetah - but I was never timed. When you're in really, really good shape... load up on creatine. When you sprint, it feels like you're turocharged. It's almost too fast - you feel like you're going to lose control of the sprint. All that extra fuel for the muscles...

I just loved it when I was fit training for the marathon. I could float along at sustained speed with no effort. I could run for a couple of hours without feeling tired.

Wish I still could. :(

I had a good time for the 60yd dash, but I can't remember what it was.

For the 100m, 13 secs, IIRC, but that was before I started smoking...

The mile was always my distance.

As a matter of fact, last thursday I ran the 100 meters 11.99 ET at the dutch national championships for students. That's not really good, but it was my first competetive match after 5 years of injury.
My PB is 11.01 ET, that's 10.8 manual. My PB on the 200 meter dash is 22.20. Back then, I was 19 years of age, now I'm 24

had baseball practice today and i ran a 6.5 60yd dash! :goodjob: stayed the same in the 40yd dash though. hopefully i'll get faster after baseball season, only 57 more games to go

I've never recorded time for 100 or 200m, but I'm pretty fast, expecially in changing the direction of running (this is very important in playing football, and I think it's important in american football and rugby, too)

yeah its really important in american football, although sometimes if you change your direction and your not looking it can hurt very much  you gotta change your direction in baseball very quickly also(running the bases)

I'm a distance runner -- when I'm healthy I run a 5K in a little over 20 minutes, and a 10K in a little over 43 minutes. Pretty average.

Usually around 13, never sub-13 though...nowadays, to be quite frank, I would rather catch the bus.

When I played football, I ran a 4.8 40 yd dash...

When I was in the service, my best time ever in the 2 mile run was 10:24...

I ran a 3.9 40 during overspeed training (a partner was pulling me with a bungie cord) and a 4.7 40 under normal conditions. The timing was not official however, and without an electronic sensor or several experienced judges averaging their times, the difference between a great 40 and mediocre 40 time is just how antsy the judge is.
