[R&F] How fast do you go through the tech tree?

I alwats play King and Standard, because I do not want an AI with too many extra bonuses.

I reach the final era in around T300 if I am not beelining for spaceports.

You know there is a mod that takes away their extra units. So everyone starts with the same units. Then you just have to catch up on tech and culture.

I've only played on Deity once, to get the achievement. It was easy enough to win, but I did find it constraining, and the way the game increases too annoying. Basially it came down to exploiting the AIs inability to do combat, go wide, and snowball to victory. I didn't have a lot of fun with it, so I now always play on King.

I'm not sure if I have ever tried Normal speed. I was a Marathon player in Civ 5, but found that a bit too sluggish in 6, so I play on Epic.

me too ,only epic for resonable production speed but i tweak tech and civic so its like marathon
