    So far, so good.

Feyenoord has played two games and won both. Scored 8 goals and conceded none...

A lot better than last year. :)

But again, no great display by Genk. Atleast they are taking the points home now.

A.A. Gent drew with Zulte-Waregem (1-1) after a horrible match. One team wanted to play football, the other team was more interested in digging trenches. Playing with 4-6-0 these days =>
Anyway, it's also the fault of Gent; they didn't took their chances...

Ajax has won two games, won both, scored 12 and conceded two. For some reason it wasn't all that impressive though.

Trust me, I am not jumping to any conclusions here, but let's just say the contrast between this year and last year has been rather striking so far... :)

After winning the Grand Final 6-0 last year, Melbourne Victory has started the season with a 2-2 draw against the new New Zealand team. Although only 1 team out of the 8 in the league has a win after the first round so its not too bad.

So far so good. 2 difficult games against Braga (4th last year) away and Sporting (2nd) home, 2 wins. And after only 2 games we're already leading the league 3 points ahead of Sporting and 4 points better than Benfica, our perennial rivals.

Well, another 1-0 victory for Genk against Westerlo, again not a great display.
The team isn't having their best period and something seems off, but as long as we take enough points, we'll survive the crisis without too much damage (except the European elimination of course)

10/15 ... shared 3rd place, I can live with that for the moment, an average of 2 points per match.

Liverpool won 6-0 at home to Derby and are now top of the premiership for the first time since August 2002. So a very good start to the season.

AA Gent lost 4-1 to Cercle Bruges this weekend. An outrage...

    STVV - Genk 1-2
We won the derby and move up to 3rd position in the league. All other contenders for the European tickets drawed, so it's been a perfect match day for us.

We drew with current leaders Standard: 1-1. Not a bad result. Currently in 4th place. :)

Rangers got beaten SAVAGELY by Hearts 4-2. Not the best result to take going into a Champions League game against a team like Stutgart *shudder*

On the plus side my local team Hamilton Accies are top of the First Division by 6 points

Melbourne Victory are undefeated after the first 4 rounds. Unfortunately, we still haven't won :cringe:

Perth Glory have finally scored their first goal of the season, after drawing their first 3 games 0 - 0, but unfortunately Queensland Roar scored two, so we finally scored a goal, but we also leaked our first goals of the season, leaving us 7th, with just Sydney FC behind us.

It was comedy capers in Ghent this weekend. First, Bernd Thijs (AA Gent) gave a perfect cross for the opponent to score after 4 minutes. After that, AA Gent attacked relentlessly for the remainder of the match, but only managed to score once out of about 15 chances. The climax was a shot of Zewlakow, while he was trough on goal, that hit the first post, then bounced against the second post and wobbled into hands of the keeper...
