How logn can a game og past 2050/howl ogn has yr lognest game gone?

Ok, 2 questions:

1) How much logner can u play past 2050 in the epic game.

and

2) Assuming you can play afterwards indefinately, but im not sur,e what's the latest year you've ever palyed? What happenes after a cpuiple hundred year,s and all civs reach the maximum of their developement? Does the game play differently? Thanks.

1) Indefinitly

2) I never play past the set date.

That's an extra 430 turns I've played. I keep several games going at once and this has probably been the longest ever. i actully won the game by Space Race in 1980 but I want to destory everyone (it's an evil tendency I have ).

Actually it was quite a fun game as I was the Greeks - and the Romans and Egyptians came from way behind to dominate their continents. So I have 2 smaller continents and they each control their own larger continent except for the few cities I've taken. We've been through 2 world wars with all of us fighting each other. Some nuclear holocausts included.

I have now convinced Rome to ally with me against the Egyptians. There will soon be 10 Transports of MA and 18 Transports of MI on their shores. Accompanying them is 3 transports each of Radar Artillery and Mobile SAM. Already in place are about 50 Stealth Bombers and I have 10 Carriers off shore with 4 Stealth Fighters also. There is also about 10 Nuclear Subs with Tactical Nukes just in case. I have ICBMs ready but everyone has SDI now. Egypt has a good size force but with only a few transports I'm not sure how helpful they will be.
