Should have defined "less than 1 / day" into more options. I'm a very light smoker, to the tune of 2-3 cigarettes a day 8 months out of the year (no indoor smoking here and I don't smoke at home).
I'm partial to a joint, but I hate tobacco so I chose the least option apart from none entirely. I don't get it, I prefer smoking a joint to smoking out of a pipe or bong, but I dry wretch every time I smoke tobacco on its own. Its just so sickening for me. Meh, I'm not complaining - I'm happy something so bad for my health is so horrible to my taste buds.
Interesting that up to now the majority are non-smokers. Perhaps most europeans are not in the site at this moment (it is 1 AM here), and/or the rest are of a considerably younger age (?).
I very rarely smoke cigars, although i do like them
None. I've always loved the smell of tobacco, but can not stand the smell once it has been lit. When I was a young child my mother smoked a few times a week when her friends came round. I can remember sniffing the cigarettes in the packets for the smell of the tobacco and old tobacco tins from my grandfather who occaisonally smoked a pipe. But as soon as someone started smoking I would start coughing and run off and empty any ashtrays as soon as the first bit of ash was dropped. I was such a nuisance that my mum stopped altogether. Smoking therefore never appealed to me at all, even when a lot of my friends started.
smoke is disgusting. no offense to those who wish to bathe in it.
Of course I work in an environment where I'm exposed to second hand smoke. But we have a pretty good ventilation system.
Someone above mentioned the smell of tobacco before it's lit. Most cigs smell bad to me, but I kind of fondly remember the smell of my fathers tobacco he used to roll cigs. Of course, after it was lit it smelled terrible.
Cigars smell the best, though it varies. I think the cheap ones smell terrible.
pot smells terrible too. And you aren't saving yourself. My brother has a smokers cought from 20 years of pot smoking. He never smoked regular cigs.
I smoke cigarettes very rarely. Not addicted at all or a habit, more a random urge, most usually when other people are smoking, the smell just makes me have to have one. Cigars every once in a while, like maybe once a month at most.
