And have you been tipping differently during COVID-19?

I usually tip 15%. But in the past months I've been tipping $6 on <$20 orders and $10 on orders over that. I think I might stick with the specific-dollar approach.

Tipping delivery drivers isn't really a thing here (except perhaps fast food deliveries but I rarely have them).

We tip more. Drivers and helpers need it more than we do.

N/A I live beyond the range of food delivery drivers - I have to collect anything I order.

I don't remember the last time I had food delivered.
In restaurants, I generally tip 15-20% as I tend to go with large groups at busy times.

Having grown up doing jobs that required tips, I probably over tip a bit. I'll usually round up the bill to an even amount that works out to around 20%

I usually tip high, 20% and then some extra bucks. Since the pandemic I've been tipping $10 on a ~$30 order.

Round it up to the next dollar, and then add $2-3 more.

The only thing I have delivered is pizza, since I'm too far out of the city. But we have a local pizza joint in the village. I usually tip $3 to $4 on a small order, double that for a large order (like if I have company or something) They tend to overcharge a lot anyway, so I don't feel particularly cheap.

$7 for small orders, 20% for large orders.

Prior to covid I only did take-out.

Have never had food delivered. I'd rather cook, eat leftovers, pick up food, or eat Clif bars.

I tip takeout food delivery folks 20%. But I haven't been getting any takeout delivery during corona isolation.

Only had food delivered like twice in my entire life, because tip/delivery together add so much to the price it doesn't make economic sense :p

plus the pizza place is typically half a mile away at most. I'll get it myself.

My local pizza place doesn't do delivery or have any tables. Pick-up only, and discount for paying in cash.

I rarely get delivery stuff, usually I do pickup.

But I don't too because we don't top here and everything is generally pre paid online anyway.

I have a friend who works in an Oregon restaurant. According to her, Europeans don't tip, Asians don't tip, Filipinos don't tip. Only Americans tip.

That's dumb, I tip in America. It's basic cross cultural literacy.
