How often do you Civ...?

So, my roommate just came in and told me I waste too much time playing Civilization (which is probably true). How many hours a week do you play it?

When I first discovered the game I played 20+ hours a week easily. I did that for months in a row. Then I decided real life was more important. Now I play civ once in a while, average less than 5 hours a week.

You won't get the results your looking for in the OT forum. Most of us here don't play Civ all too often.

Haven't played any CIV2 in 7 months or so. Never played CIV3.

Civ2, usually every time I'm on the comp, which is about....eight hours a day. Civ3 for Mac is kinda lacking, so gave up on that for now.

Either play Europa Universalis (2) or Hearts of Iron, otherwise Total War. Don't play Civ, it doesn't compare.

I play about on average 4 hours a day making 28 hours a week. Of course, the 4 hours is divided into intervals which include breaks and all.

i just started playing civ3 again after about a 6 month break from it. i'm lucky if i get an hour in a night so i'd say about 5 hours a week

but how did you come here?

I played one game this year so I would say 0-5 on average

a) Victoria (from Paradox - creators of EU)

and especially

b) Rome Total War (Total War series, actually...)

Never, at least not since January. Civ3 is too long and tedious and just pales in comparison to Advance Wars and FFTA.

Total War is indeed a pretty good game, but I guess after 15 years of gaming (OMG ) the demon lets me out of his fangs now
