Not really strategy, just for entertainment. I was starting up a nice emperor/epic fractal map with AC when I roled this start:

Triple corn!!!! and pig to boot! I'll add a save in case anyone wants to play this. But just how often do you see 3 corn together like that (which would all be irrigated post-CS)

I'm playing a game currently where the Koreans have 7 Silks, cow, and gems in the bfc of their capital ill post screenie later

never seen it. but...

that's almost too much food. rome can't use it all until you've got at least monarchy and code of laws. i would have settled rome 1 west and antium (or whatever) 3 east and 1 south. then city 2 could be GP farm, while rome focused on :hammers: :commerce: with bureaucracy.

can you post this save from turn 0, before you moved/settle? i didn't check the save, so, but i'm curious and kind of like easy games better than hard ones;p

The question is what do you do when you roll a start like that? Which strategy is the best for a capital with huge food surplus?

He's IMP with 4 good food resources. I'd whip like crazy, and once the :) cap is up, run a lot of specs here.

Can people should start putting check out my start threads in general discussion? Maybe in the screenshot tread, or maybe someone should create a check out my start thread.

I'm not trying to dissuade discussion, it's just that there's enough of these threads that maybe they deserve to be organized in one place.
