How often to you play to win?

I was just curious how people like to play this mod. Personally, I probably play with the goal of getting some kind of in-game victory maybe 50% of the time, while the other 50% I usually have some goal I make for myself in mind, that can change as I play the game.

In 90% of my games, I started with the goal of achieving the UHV. In 90% of those games my goal switches to something else because I realize that I will not achieve the UHV because I focus on other things.

Most of the time I have no particular goal and most of my games never even reach any kind of victory stage. Most of the time I guess I'm just trying to relive the civilizations history to as close a degree as possible although at times I also like to do althistory (such as Rome never falling, maintaining control of Europe and colonizing the New World). Despite playing Civ4 since 2008 I don't consider myself that good a player and so I still have plenty of UHVs left that I've never completed.
